Relaxed and competently: this is what the kitchen chef and owner Christopher Crell says about the quality of the cuisine and the charm of the restaurant. The menu is compact and offers alongside á-la-carte and `Sharing with friends` dishes, also very demanding menu choices. From crispy baked pork belly over Tagliata, classic Wiener Schnitzel or Hare`s Back with Jerusalem artichoke and pear, up to “Grandma Trares Bone Marrow Dumpling Soup”, according to the recipe of the revered landlady and name giver of the restaurant.
On top, we also offer dishes for sharing. For the purpose of home feeling, the dishes are then served in bowls in the middle of the table. And that is exactly how our approach is to combine cosmopolitan, traditional and young German cuisine with the aim of highest product quality and the influence of regional ingredients.
